We have opened up the position of Personal Lines Accounts Manager in our Murrells Inlet Branch.  This position offers a guaranteed base salary plus commission opportunities.

What will it be like to work for Strovis Insurance?
The Account Manager is responsible for increasing customer growth by rounding current customer account management,  processing policy renewals, marketing and selling personal insurance products and retaining valuable relationships with carriers that we represent on behalf of the agency.  The Account Manager is the client’s contact for insurance needs and questions relating to renewals and customer service.   Success is based on relationships.  This is established by building customer rapport through good character traits.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Account Manager include:

  • Keeping abreast of agency offerings, policy management system and online software.
  • Compliance with all licensing requirements and continuing education is a requirement
  • Training for all carriers that the agency represents to obtain knowledge of products.
  • Account rounding- to other applicable lines.
  • Obtaining and maintaining referral relationships
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients by providing outstanding customer service and support

The specific qualifications needed to be successful are:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or two years’ experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred
  • Driven, self-motivated
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.  Applied software experience preferred.
  • Excellent technical skills a must!
